Introduction
Welcome to Doctors Online (hereinafter referred to as "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing and
using this platform (located at https://specialists.doctorsonline.space) or mobile applications on Google Play
Store
and Apple App Store (collectively called “our services”), you agree to abide by these Terms and
Conditions. If you do not wish to abide by these terms, please do not use any of our platforms or
mobile applications.
Services Provided
Our services enable licensed medical specialists to receive and manage consultation appointments booked for their accounts. Our services also allows medical specialists to respond to questions asked by our users. Only licensed healthcare specialists are allowed to give responses to such questions. Users may visit a specialist's account directly from the responses given by the specialist to a question.
User Eligibility
To use our services, you must agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the country where you are using our services. In addition to that, you agree that:
- You are more that 18 years of age.
- You have successfully completed training (and passed the necessary housemanship if required) and is certified and currently licensed as a medical specialist. You may be requested to submit documents qualifying you as a medical specialist.
Appointment Booking and Cancellations
- Users can book appointments for your account, based on the availability schedules on your account.
Payment and Refund Policy
- Payment for consultations are made to you, the specialist. You agree to excempt Us if any issues arise from transactions you might have with our users.
- We do not handle the payments for the consultations and as such are not responsible for any transaction issues or refunds.
Doctor Responsibilities
While using our services, all users must:
- Provide accurate personal and contact information before your account can accept appointments.
- Make sure that the information on their profile is accurate and up to date at all times. Your account may be terminated with or without notice if we find out any information on your account is false.
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes.
- Refrain from abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive behavior.
Privacy and Data Protection
We handle your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using our platform, you consent to data collection and processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
- We act as a facilitator to book appointments with healthcare professionals.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use of our platform.
Intellectual Property Rights
- All content on our platform, including logos, text, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us.
- Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission.
Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend user accounts for:
- Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
- Misuse of the platform or fraudulent activity.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage our users to visit this page periodically to get the updated terms and conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
